In honor of World Food Prize week and the Global Youth Institute this week’s Memory Monday is featuring my fellow intern Alani who I spent my time in Kenya with. Alani and I had only met once prior to living together for two months, but we became fast friends. We did EVERYTHING together including eating meals, exploring, conducting research, and of course teaching at the school. Without her support none of this would be possible, and after almost three months I get to see her this week as we are leading the Global Youth Institute.

If you are impressed with what Amondi’s Avengers is doing I encourage you to check out the World Food Prize and Borlaug Dialogues happening virtually, and in-person in Des Moines Iowa. This event brings together hundreds of world leaders, hunger fighters, and people just like us striving to make change in the world!
